Ooops I'm a little late posting this, what with old age, bank holidays and the odd tipple of lager I lost track of time. Any way without further ado I shall tell you about this weeks challenge over at Cupcake
The lovely Denise wants us to alter it..... Pink Gem Designs are kindly offering one lucky winner, chosen at random, four Digital Images of their choice from the crammed full of scrummy Digi's Pink Gem Store!
Here is mine, I made a cute little box from this
I havent completely finished it as I have to add a name to the tag but just in case the person reads my blog I have left it off for now....
All flowers, leaves and bobbly bits are from the Ribbon Girl (thanks Mary and Andrea)
This week at Cupcake we would like you to make a card and gift in one. The fabulous prize is 7 Digital Images by Bugaboo stamps. I used a shaped card from Which craft and made a little pocket inside to hold a gift card. I added little magnets for the closure.
Sorry for the few words but have not long back from spending the weekend with Mary and Andrea the one and only Ribbon Girls. I am tired but a happy lady :)
Your comment will need to include your Inlinkz number (you will only be able to win treasure if you enter this weeks Challenge). You will also need to add the picture of the Treasure to your sidebar, linking it back to Cupcake.
You can enter all three Treasures, if you find them, so long as you enter our challenge this week, leave a comment as above and include one treasure picture on your sidebar.
Winners will be randomly drawn from all the comments on the relevant posts, noon on Sunday. (So long as they have followed the rules!)
So before you pop off to make your card and to track down the treasure I will leave you with my card this week........
As you know The Ribbon Girl is celebrating it's birthday during the whole of August and it would be a very dull party without a few party games - and party games need prizes!
This game will run until the evening of Saturday 13th August (UK time) and the winner will recieve 6 packets of small polka dot buttons in the colours of their choice. So what do you have to do? It's simple - just tell The Ribbon Girls how many buttons you think there are in the jar.
Leave a comment with your guess HERE at the Ribbon Girls Blog and the winner will be the first person on the list who guesses correctly or the first person who is closest to the correct number of buttons when the game closes on Saturday night.
This week Let's thank all those teachers out there in the world!
have quite a few school kid and teacher images in the shop, so Christy has created a search page for you...if you are looking for some school-related images as well as some fab creations from the Design team :)
For my card I used A plus avenger ( I just love these avenger images ). Not only do they look good but are not too fiddly when colouring .
It was my choice of challenge this week over at Cupcake Challenges and those who know me I very rarely make a project without having any sewing on it so its no surprise that I want you to make a project that includes some sewing whether it is real or faux :) We are delighted that this weeks challenge is being sponsored by Paper Pretties who are kindly offering Giving Thanks Sophia Stamp.
So here is my card
I stamped Toadstool Retreat by Tatty Button onto watercolour paper and coloured it with distress inks and layered it on top of cardboard painted witth distress paint , fence by Magnolia and patterened paper by Raspberry road, all topped off with button twine from The Ribbon Girl The round sentiment is magical mini seals.
Just a quickie to point you in the direction of the Tiddly Ink challenge blog where this week the team have been making Gel cards. Now I had never heard of gel cards before and am amazed at how fab they are.............
Here is a chance to win prizes :) The Ribbon Girl are celebrating their birthday with a birthday blog hop. It starts on 1st August and ends on 7th August.
The Ribbon Girl marks the start of the blog hop and then each of the DT will be giving a rainbow selection of ribbons, pins, buttons and charms prize to give away.
To be in with a chance of winning on my blog all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog, then if you hop off to the next blog which in my case is Jo's leave a comment there you could be in with another chance.
Each DT member will randomly pick the winner of a prize on our own blog.
The list of DT members who are giving prizes away are :
