By Lori Design Challenge #2

Yep its that time again for another colour challenge with Lori details can be found here.

The challenge for the next two weeks are  to use Kraft, Chocolate brown soft Yellow and red on a project not forgetting a digi image from By Lori Design

I have used Puddle Jumper Emma with words   First of all I opened the image in Photoshop  cropped the image to just show the parcel, popped it into a word document and resized it to the size I wanted to make the background for my card. I printed it onto October Afternoon paper. I then layered it onto the yellow and brown cardstock, added a polka dot button  from the Ribbon Girl. I coloured  Emma with copics and added bakers Twine also from the Ribbon Girl to stop her balloons from flying away. The words are also included in the price of the digi image so you are all set to go ............

Ribbon Girl colour challenge # 4

A card I made for The Ribbon Girl  colour challenge which can be found Here   I used crosgrain ribbon in Moss Green and an extra long vintage style pin in white. The digi is from the Bug and Roo range by Hannah Boyd

This month's challenge is a PINK & GREEN challenge.  The challenge will close on Sunday, January 30th at Midnight UK time.

You can make any kind of project  (just go a look at Gails cakes she has made on the blog, they are delicious and certainly look good enough to eat ) as long as you stick to the colours and enter a direct link to your project (on a blog or in a gallery) in the in-linkz box at the bottom of the post  and you'll be entered into the draw to win a lovely selection of Ribbon Girl goodies.

The proceeds of the sale of the digi image I used will be donated by Hannah to the March of Dimes in honour of Jakin and Shyla.
You can read their stories here

Christening card

I stumbled across  a challenge blog I hadn't seen before on my travels on the internet and having just finished this card I thought I would like to enter this card into the Paper Sundae's Challenge Blog latest challenge # 51 asking for circles.

I had been asked to make a card for two soon to be godparents to a beautiful little girl and this card was the result. The image is a digital image by Heather Ellis, letter stickers by Making Memories, digi paper,  cosmo cricket chipboard shape   and lots of machine stitching

Ist Birthday

I recently received my wonderful parcel of ribbon from the Ribbon Girl  and I instantly fell in love with the silk ribbon. I have to have a piece of every colour. It is so soft and easy to use......
Anyway I have been asked to make two 1st Birthday cards for 2 little girls so I made this card combining it with My Favourite Things Guest Designer challenge, which was to make a card,to include a banner and at least one item from the My Favourite Thing shop.  I unfortunatley do not have a banner die so I hand cut and assembled my banner and glued it onto bakers twine also from the Ribbon Girl. The image is from the Pure Innocence Range and papers are digi papers by Crystal Wilkinson. I paper pieced the little girls shoes and dress and glittered the heart for a little sparkle. I  also covered the chipboard number one with Glamour Dust and added a Princess charm. To top it off I added the silk ribbon.

Wish me luck........x
